Hey listeners, readers, and writers, it’s time for another Garage Fiction weekly prompt.
We’re backtracking a little bit and calling this prompt 47. Why? Because writers can’t count. Don’t get all math at us! Ok, seriously though, you know how sometimes you think you can power through something even though it’s not realistic at all? That’s what happened with us over the holidays. We thought we could keep writing even as family flew in, as we ate ourselves into comas, as we played with our new toys, and none of us submitted for prompt 45 and 46. So we’re calling last week’s prompt 46 and this week’s is now 47.
Phew! Now that that’s all out of the way, on to prompt 47. It was provided by GF member Bryan. Our deadline to submit our pieces is Friday, January 20th.
Bryan presents: Hundred Eyes from Netflix’s Marco Polo (played by Tom Wu)
He says: This image encapsulates the character, and, I should add, the first time I saw the character in the show, I told my wife I was going to dress like him for the rest of my life (and do kung fu, of course).
Until next time, good luck with your words. We’ll see you in the garage.
